This is a translation of the Dutch privacy statement. In case of differences, the Dutch version prevails.

At Studio van Duijn I handle your data with care. I collect no more than necessary, sell nothing on and keep things as transparent as possible. Below you can read exactly which data I process, why, and what rights you have.

Who am I?

What do I use your data for?

The legal basis for this is your consent (which you can withdraw at any time), the performance of a contract (in the case of a purchase) or my legitimate interest in being able to provide my services, as set out in the GDPR (AVG in Dutch).

Social Post Studio: connection with Facebook and Instagram

To schedule and publish social media posts, I use my own tool, Social Post Studio. It works through Meta's official integration (Facebook Login for Business). In doing so, I process the following data:

WhoseWhat dataWhat for
Accounts connected to the toolName and ID of the Facebook page and the Instagram account, and an access token from MetaTo publish posts and reels and show their statistics
People who comment on an Instagram postUsername, account ID and the text of the commentTo see whether someone uses a code word and then automatically send them a direct message
People who receive such a direct messageThe message sent and the time it was sentTo prevent someone from receiving the same message twice

A direct message is only sent to someone who has posted a code word under a post themselves. I do not use this data for anything else, do not sell it on and do not use it for advertising.

Having your data deleted from Social Post Studio

Which parties do I work with?

To make all this possible, I work with a number of reliable services. I have a data processing agreement with each of them, and they only process your data on my instructions:

ServiceWhat for
MailerLiteEmail marketing, freebies and waiting lists
StripeSecure payment processing
SupabaseAccounts and access to the Academy

I never sell your data and do not share it with others for commercial purposes.

How long do I keep your data?

No longer than necessary. I keep purchase and invoice data in line with the statutory tax retention period of seven years. I keep newsletter subscriptions until you unsubscribe. I keep a message sent via the contact form for as long as needed to help you properly. I keep comments and sent messages from Social Post Studio for a maximum of 90 days, after which they are deleted automatically.

Cookies

The website only uses functional cookies that are needed to make the site work. I only place tracking or marketing cookies after you have given your consent via the cookie notice. Do you decline? Then the site simply works, without anything being tracked.

If you do give consent, the Meta pixel from Facebook and Instagram loads. This lets me see which ad leads to a sign-up or purchase. Meta may process data outside the European Union in doing so. You can withdraw your consent by clearing this website's cookies in your browser, or by emailing me.

Your rights

You have the right at any time to:

Want to exercise one of these rights? Email me at info@studiovanduijn.nl and I will arrange it within 30 days. Can we not resolve it together? Then you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

Changes

I may update this privacy statement from time to time, for example when I start working with a new service. The latest version is always on this page, with the date of the last change at the top.
