Recording in the permanent recording studio in the Leiden area, with several interior corners and sets, from a warm living-room feel to a sleek business look, so the setting suits your podcast. Including a basic set-up with cameras and microphones. Because the chosen corner and any styling differ per recording, we agree the location hire together.
Option 2
At your location
€ 0.25 per kilometre excl. VAT (€ 0.30 incl.)
I bring the equipment to your location. Travel costs are based on the Dutch tax-free mileage allowance, for the return trip from the Leiden area.

- Optional: editing & publishing. For € 150 per episode excl. VAT (€ 181.50 incl.) I also take care of the editing and publishing on the podcast platforms.

Is editing included in the recording price?
No, the recording price of € 325 excl. VAT (€ 393.25 incl.) is for the recording itself. Editing and publishing on Spotify and YouTube cost € 150 per episode excl. VAT (€ 181.50 incl.) together, with extended SEO optimisation optional for € 35 excl. VAT (€ 42.35 incl.) extra.
What does recording in the studio cost compared to on location?
The permanent studio has several interior corners and sets available, from a warm living-room feel to a sleek business look. Because the chosen corner and any styling differ per recording, the location hire is agreed in consultation, from € 250 excl. VAT (€ 302.50 incl.) per day. If I come to you, I charge € 0.25 per kilometre excl. VAT (€ 0.30 incl.) instead of location hire, never both at once.
How many episodes fit into one half day?
Usually 1 to 2 episodes of 30 to 45 minutes, depending on the number of guests and the format you want.
Can I also have a voice-over intro recorded?
Yes, a voice-over intro/outro for the whole series costs a one-off € 75 excl. VAT (€ 90.75 incl.), or € 120 excl. VAT (€ 145.20 incl.) with a music bed. Recorded once and reusable in every episode.
Are there package discounts for multiple episodes?
Yes. A single episode costs € 450 excl. VAT (€ 544.50 incl.) all-in (recording, editing and publishing). With the Duo package (2 episodes) that drops to € 287.50 excl. VAT (€ 347.88 incl.), with the Series (4 episodes) to € 268.75 excl. VAT (€ 325.19 incl.), with the Season (6 episodes) to € 258.33 excl. VAT (€ 312.58 incl.) and with the Marathon (10 episodes) to € 245 excl. VAT (€ 296.45 incl.) per episode. A different number of episodes is possible by arrangement.
Can I schedule a whole season in one go?
Yes, you can. The Season package (6 episodes, € 1,550 all-in excl. VAT (€ 1,875.50 incl.)) and the Marathon (10 episodes, € 2,450 all-in excl. VAT (€ 2,964.50 incl.)) are made for this, including editing and publishing. Want a different number? I'm happy to put together a custom package price.
